Agility – jumping, stepping, gliding, breaking through walls, jerking
Lateral motion – wide weaves & slaloms, surging pace lines, focus on quick recovery
Blocking – one on one around track, blocking in a pack
Speed control – back blocking & bridging
Agility – jumping, stepping, gliding, breaking through walls, jerking
Lateral motion – surging double pace lines, focus on quick recovery
Blocking – one on one around track, blocking in a pack
Revise:
Blocking – hip checks, body blocks, surging

Week Two

Skills:
Speed control – re-engaging, engagement zone & out of play, ref discussion
Agility – spoke drill & pack skating
Lateral motion –  body blocks and surging in a pack, directional play, k discussion
Blocking – man up vs wall up, big hits vs smalls hits
Speed control – re-engaging, engagement zone & out of play, ref discussion
Agility – pack skating, breaking through/around walls
Lateral motion –  body blocks and surging in a pack, directional play, ref discussion
Blocking – man up vs wall up, big hits vs smalls hits, surging walls, finding the threat
Revise:
Pace lines, pack skating, surging

Walls – splitting and reforming, protecting walls (buffer)
Blocking – blocking between cones, timing of hits and recovery, effective hits on inside and outside
Strategy – wolves & gazelles, focus changes in game play
Communication – follow the leader, verbal and non verbal vs on and off track

Speed – 1 lap in under 13 seconds
Walls – walls at the front of the pack vs walls at the back of the pack
Blocking – hammer and nail, pendulum, water falling
Strategy – Jam starts in game play
Communication – Jam starts in game play
Backwards – Skate 3 laps in under 1 minute

Jammer – being aware of the other Jammer, playing offensively as a jammer
Blocker – offence at front & back, defence at front & back, pack work
Pack Awareness – out of play & bridging

Jammer – being aware of the other Jammer, using Jammer as 5th blocker
Blocker – offence at front & back, defence at front & back, one on one offence with Jammer
Pack Awareness – out of play & bridging
Effectiveness – controlling the pack, walling, water falling, re-engaging
